A Little Cloth Group in Japan made some really great pieces for their yarn-dyed fabrics for a handmade patchwork piece for a guest to a wedding. They use a size 10 thread and dye two colors to create a stretchy fabric that looks great on the table. Using the same yarn they created some new items for their group of fabric artists and embroiderers to use. It is a great touch for one of the lovely items they did for a guest of honor’s bridal shower.
She ordered six small pieces of fabric with edging and four or five ‘mini’ squares, all in different colors. She has them printed on beautiful blue and pink fabrics. A small Cloth group in Japan is creating fabric designs using modern technology. There are many clever things they are doing with LED lights to make their products pop and glow. I’m not sure how popular they are, but they sure are a sight.
They have had a wonderful set of lighted eco-friendly LEDs in their shop for quite some time. The set is so simple. It is a single LED bulb with a wind up that turns a small gear that activates a small motor. It is very easy to use and easy to set up and it even comes with a mini transformer to connect to an electric outlet for power. These LED bulbs are extremely bright, produce no heat whatsoever and are UV-protected. The whole thing cost about $30 but you can get them almost anywhere, they are cheap and do the job well.
